This International award winning game reserve is located in the finest territory of the world famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve. The Lion Sands Game Reserve is private and exclusive to Lion Sands guests only which ensures the safari experience is highly personalised, allowing guests the time and flexibility to savour the natural beauty which abounds. The two private lodges located within the Lion Sands Private Game Reserve, Ivory Lodge and River Lodge both offer a world class luxury safari experience.

Ivory Lodge has been built on the banks of the Sabie River with magnificent view, extending onto the open sand banks of the Kruger National Park. The lodge faces due South and is approximately 100 meters upstream from River Lodge.

About the Lodge:	Ivory Lodge is about African Euro elegance, sophistication yet simplicity, boldness yet balance, ebony and ivory, perfect harmony, exclusivity, sensitivity and complete privacy. The entrance area is separate from the main lodge in order to ensure that guests arriving and departing have no impact on other overnight guests. The public areas comprise of a private lounge, library, wooden viewing decks, wine cellar, gymnasium and health spa, curio shop, and both an indoor and open-air (Boma) dining area.
Total number of rooms or chalets:	There are 6 ultra luxurious suites with en-suite bathroom, outdoor and inside shower, courtyard, lounge with fireplace, wooden viewing deck, patio and private plunge pool. The bedroom and bathroom area are air-conditioned and overhead fans cool the bedrooms and lounges. All rooms have telephone and Internet access. The suites area 165sqm in size and are positioned at least 20 meters apart, being linked to all areas by raised wooden walkways. They all have breathtaking views over the Sabie River, a setting where game viewing can be done from the luxury of one's private suite.
Children Policy:	The lodge is unable to accommodate children under the age of 10 years unless the lodge is block booked by the same family or group. Children aged 15 years and under and sharing a room with adults pay 50% of the adult sharing rate. Extra beds in rooms cannot be provided.
Rate inclusions:	Unless otherwise specified nightly rates include luxury accomodation, two game drives in open Landrovers, three meals daily, game drive refreshments, teas/coffees, laundry, beverages* excluding premium brands and imports, Skukuza airport transfers. Optional activities also included in the rate include astronomy, bush breakfast/dinner, bush walks, river tours, safari lunches and wildlife lectures. ** Specially discounted rates may exclude all beverages except for teas/coffees and refreshments on game drives.
