Pestana Inhaca Lodge

Located on Inhaca Island, 15 mins flight from Maputo

The Island of Inhaca is located 20 minutes by plane (34km) from Maputo and is situated between bushy colonies of coconut trees and tropical vegetation. The island, a secure and tranquil location, is a stop-over for yachts, sailboats and cruises in search of a tropical alternative in the velvet waters of the Indian Ocean.

Accommodation

The resort offers a total of 40 rooms (20 Standard Rooms and 20 Family Rooms), divided into double and twin beds. All the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, television with DSTV, tea & coffee making facilities, mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms with shower. The rooms are set amongst magnificent coconut palms and tropical gardens.

he lodge has one main restaurant which is indoors, but meals and beverages are also served outside on the terrace around the pool.  There is also a cocktail bar.

Activities & Facilities

The lodge offers a wide variety of leisure facilities such as use of the salt-water swimming pool, table tennis and pool table and Internet facilities at the main lodge. The Gone Fishin' Activities Centre offers the following activities:

Free of charge:  non-motorised water sports (wind surfing, canoeing and paddling) and the use of scuba diving and snorkelling equipment for all guests at the hotel.

With supplement: water-skiing, Cobra-cat, sailing trips, fishing, walking trails/tours, Jeep/tractor tours to the lighthouse and Marine Biology Museum and boat tours to Santa Maria and Portuguese Island
