invites you to discover what family life can be in a relaxed and yet lively

holiday; sleeping, playing, dreaming, reading. and enjoying the pleasures of
the fragrant cuisine of the islands.
The charmingly natural and rustic architecture subtly embraces the outside
areas - with a deck that puts the finishing touch to the bar and restaurant
- and where fine golden beach sand and lush vegetation are ingeniously
intermingled in the heart of the hotel area.
PLEASE NOTE: The Veranda Pointe aux Biches will be
undergoing renovation work from 15 June until 15 July 2010. During this time
part of the hotel (Standard and Family Rooms, the main pool, the Spa, the
Footloose Spa and the Senses Restaurant) will be closed. The Sandy Lane
section with its 30 Priviledge Rooms together with it's pool, the Lazy Pool
Bar and the Sandy Lane Grill Restaurant will remain open throughout this
period.
Accommodation
The Standard Rooms have either a garden, sea or pool view and
the Family Rooms, with a special annexed kid's room with bunk beds, can
accommodate 2 adults, 2 children and an infant. Room features include
air-conditioning, bathroom with separate shower and toilet, furnished balcony or
terrace, electronic safe, direct telephone, television, hair dryer, mini bar,
tea & coffee facilities (at a nominal price).
30 Privilege Rooms, located in their own private wing of the
hotel, were introduced in November 2008. There rooms have a garden or pool view
and all rooms have a furnished terrace or balcony. Room facilities include king
or twin beds, separate toilet and shower, air-conditioning, electronic safe,
direct dial telephone, flat screen television with Satellite channels, bathroom
amenities, hairdryer, mini bar as well as tea and coffee making facilities (at a
nominal price).
Dining
Senses Restaurant, overlooking the sea and coral
reef afar, serves tasty Mauritian specialities in a buffet style for
breakfast (07h00 - 10h00), lunch (12h00 - 14h30) and dinner (19h00 -
22h00). The Sandy Lane Grill, open for dinner between 19h00 and
23h30 six nights a week, invites guests to enjoy a unique barefoot
dining experience. Enjoy its grill station or its special seafood ŕ
la carte menu” (with supplement). At the Foot Loose Bar guests can
enjoy tropical cocktails with their feet in the sand or on a deck
overlooking the lagoon. The bar is open from 11h00 until
midnight and also runs a snack service from noon to 17h00. The
Lazy Pool Bar has a relaxed and zen atmosphere and offer a variety
of local, international and exotic drinks. This bar is open
from 09h00 until 23h00 daily.
Activities & Facilities
Veranda Pointe aux Biches offers a range of activities and
facilities:
Free of charge: kayak, pedal boat,
floating chairs, 2 pools, darts, aqua gym, water-polo,
tennis volley, beach volleyball, badminton, table tennis,
French bowling, 1 gymnasium, indoor games, long chairs and
beach umbrellas. There is also free shuttle 3 times a week
to Grand Baie Village.

Mauritius, the Veranda Pointe aux Biches offers wedding
packages.
For the younger guests
Veranda Resorts has developed its own concept of the mini-club to look after
children from 3 (if potty trained) to 11 years old. This concept is based around
a character called Timomo, a funny
Mauritian bird which looks like a green parrot with an orange beak.
Timomo goes off in search of a
treasure at the end of the rainbow.
This search takes him on a tour of the island where he meets his friends at each
of the Veranda Resorts hotels. Everyone helps him in his quest only to discover
that he already possesses the most beautiful treasures in the world: generosity
and friendship!
The mini-club is open daily from 09h00 until 21h00. A baby-sitting service is
available upon request at an additional cost.
Spa and Wellness
The Seven Colours Spa brand is
a creation of the Veranda Resorts group on the island. In their spa and
wellbeing salons they offer treatments, cosmetics and associated products
designed specially for this brand.
The philosophy of the SEVEN COLOURS is based on
the interaction and balance of life-giving energies and colours. The Seven Colours Spa at Veranda Pointe aux
Biches has 1 single massage room, 1 double massage room and 2
massage kiosks situated on the beach.
